# Trouble downloading IPS Viewer?

If the download is blocked or Windows shows an unexpected warning, keep the message open long enough to note exactly what it says. That helps identify the problem.

## Check the download source

Download from viewips.com or your verified IPS Viewer account. If you’re unsure about a link, type viewips.com into your browser and start there.

A familiar filename doesn’t establish that a file is genuine. Avoid copies from file-sharing sites, search ads, or unexpected messages.

## If you see a security warning

Leave antivirus and browser protection on. Send support the warning text and the page you downloaded from so it can be checked before you run the installer.

If the warning identifies malware, leave the file blocked or quarantined and follow your security software’s instructions. Don’t run another copy to get around the block.

## If the download didn’t finish

Check your connection and available disk space, then try the official download again. Keep track of the new file and wait for it to finish; renaming an incomplete download won’t make it usable.

If the link has expired or asks you to sign in, return to your IPS Viewer account. Use your account password only on the verified site, not a third-party download service.

## If the installer won’t open

Confirm that the download finished and that you’re using a supported Windows computer. Note the exact message. On a managed computer, ask the person responsible for it to check installation restrictions.

## Send the details

Use the support form and include:

- Your Windows version.
- The download page address.
- The complete warning or error.
- Whether it happened while downloading, opening the installer, or activating.
- A screenshot with license codes and private information hidden.

For purchase or activation help, include your order number and purchase email if needed. Never send your password, full card number, or security code.

Wait for guidance about the specific warning rather than assuming it’s a false alarm.
