Use Quick Order to add the products your client wants. Marking a photo Yes records a favorite; it doesn’t add a print to the cart.
Add a product #
- Select the photo and check its filename.
- Open Quick Order.
- Choose the Price List.
- Set Qty, Product, and Size, then check the price.
- Add any item add-ons and notes.
- Choose Add to Cart.
- Check the item and quantity in Order Review.
New items use the selected list’s applied prices. A blank price means Not set; zero means free. Resolve any unset price before finishing the order.
What “Saved to session” means #
Quick Order accepts items and notes into the open session as you work. There isn’t an overall OK button for items already accepted in this mode. Use Save Session to keep them in the .IPS file.
If you open Order Review with an unfinished entry, choose Apply, Discard, or Cancel. Apply includes that entry’s fields. Discard drops the unfinished entry without undoing items already accepted.
Several products from one photo #
Add each product and quantity separately. One photo might have a large wall print and two smaller gift prints.
Each item keeps the photo’s appearance when you ordered it. Later changes to the source photo’s crop, rotation, or treatment won’t change existing items. Check the order thumbnail and notes, verify any correction, and remove obsolete duplicates.
The same product from several photos #
Select the intended photos before opening Quick Order. The selection determines the order targets, which may differ from the group on screen.
Set the product, size, quantity, price, and add-ons, then use Apply to all selected. Check every resulting filename and quantity in Order Review.
One print from each of three photos is different from three prints of each. Check the item quantities rather than relying on the Yes count.
Package items #
Included in package waives the item’s price while retaining its original price. Item add-ons are still charged.
Check the total afterward. This setting doesn’t remove every associated charge or automatically add a package fee elsewhere.
Custom products and reusable prices #
Enter the product, size, price, and taxable status for a custom item. You can also save it to pricing drafts for the current list or all lists, then review and apply it in Price Lists.
If you see “Order saved; pricing draft not saved,” check the accepted order first. Retry the pricing step without adding the order item twice.
Album products #
An album-related item can record selected images and instructions. Use product names and quantities that match how you’ll fulfill the order. Selecting photos or ordering Album Pages doesn’t create an album layout; use your normal design tools.
Edit or remove an item #
Use the existing item’s edit or removal control. Check the filename and line first, then review the result for duplicates or unwanted changes.
Keep item add-ons with their products. Use Order Add-Ons for charges such as shipping that apply to the whole order. Save the session and review the complete order before creating the PDF.
