Open File → Settings…. The six tabs cover Studio, Branding, Slideshow, Tax, Terms, and Performance.
Choose the checkmark labeled Save changes to apply your changes. Cancel or closing the window discards them. If a value needs correcting, IPS Viewer takes you to that tab and prevents saving until it’s fixed.
Studio #
Enter your studio name, phone, email, and website. You can also add a street address, city/state/ZIP, and custom receipt text. Preview a PDF afterward to check the details your clients will see.
Branding #
Choose an accent color and use Change logo to select your logo. The Logo file location shows which file is in use.
Logos can be PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIF, or TIFF. This list is for logos; photo importing supports its own set of formats.
White logo in viewer and Black logo on receipts control how the logo appears on each background. Check both, especially if your original logo is light.
Slideshow #
Set Seconds per slide and Crossfade (sec), then choose whether to loop. Slide duration is saved as a whole number of at least one second. Crossfade must be zero or greater.
For background music, choose a file or folder. Supported formats are MP3, WAV, WMA, and M4A. When you choose a folder, the copied music is limited to 250,000,000 bytes; that folder limit doesn’t apply to a single selected song.
IPS Viewer keeps local copies of selected default assets for offline use. These copies don’t include client photos. Choose music you have permission to use.
Tax #
Enter your sales-tax rate from 0 to 99.999%. Set each product’s and add-on’s taxable status in Price Lists.
Check a practice order after changing the rate. Existing sessions keep their saved tax policy, so a new studio default doesn’t automatically change earlier orders.
Terms #
Enter your studio terms and choose whether to add a signature line. Replace any sample wording with your own terms.
The model release is separate. Turning on Include model release on receipts adds that section and a signature line even if the release text is empty. Leave it off if you don’t want that section, and check the PDF before sharing.
A template or signature line doesn’t mean the wording suits your business or that the document has been signed.
Performance #
Try Use extra memory for faster large sessions with a typical session on your appointment computer. Compare the result before making other changes; extra memory won’t improve every workload.
Keep your sessions and source photos backed up while troubleshooting. After saving settings, check both the viewer and a sample PDF.
