Chrome or Edge Blocked Download #
As a safety feature, your internet might be blocking the “.exe” program file from downloading. This is normal behavior on some systems. The setting can help you from inadvertently downloading program files from the internet that could harm your computer. It’s possible your intenet settings are blocking the download of the IPS Viewer Lite file.
If your file says “IPSViewerLite_Setup_Latest.exe”, you have the correct file and your internet program is flagging it as suspicous.

Allow the Download #
- Click the Warning: In the blocked download notification (often at the bottom or in your downloads list), click the message.
- Select “Keep” or “Download”: Choose the option like “Download suspicious file,” “Keep dangerous file,” or similar to override the block.
If You Keep Getting Blocked #
- Check Settings: Temporarily lower Safe Browsing protection in your browser’s security settings (e.g., to “Standard” from “Enhanced”) for a specific download, then turn it back up.
- Report the File: Use your browser’s option to report the file as safe to Google or the browser developer to improve their detection.
